Return Policy

RETURN POLICY:

We always want our customers to be completely happy with everything bought from CentralBooksOnline.com. If you're not satisfied with something you've bought, simply get it replaced within 7 days from the date of delivery.

At CentralBooksOnline.com we take all precautions to ensure proper packing and shipping of your items so that you can buy items online in a hassle free manner. But if something is wrong with the item shipped by CentralBooksOnline.com, we ensure an easy return and/or replacement against your purchase.

Replacement/Exchange Policy:

We take measures to ensure that the items delivered to you are in perfect condition. However, there is a possibility that:

  1. The item may be damaged during transit
  2. Or there might be a manufacturing defect
  3. Or that a wrong item is delivered to you

 In only such cases as given above, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that the request for replacement / return of item is made within the stipulated time-frame (7 days from the date of delivery) as given above.

For Replacement/Exchange use the information provided on your order receipt.

1. Items should be in their original condition.
2. Items should be ideally in the original packaging.
3. Items should be returned within 7 days from the date of delivery.

 

How to place a request for return an item (Books / Stationery / Others)?

 It’s a simple process,

  • Click on "My Account" at top bar and Login your account with your registered mobile or email id
  • Once you are in My account page, Go to My Orders and Click on the Return Request link next to the product you would like to return.
  • Follow the screens, & select Request type as "Return Replacement" and Fill in the required details and submit the request.

Make a request for Replacement Or
if you find any difficulties to raise a request for this, Simply Mail us with Following things to be mentioned In the mail at: info@CentralBooksOnline.com

1) Order number
2) Item Details,Qty and Price of the Order
3) Reason for Replacement

 
Only after receiving our confirmation for the return, you are requested to send the item back to us. We will then arrange for the replacement of the item through our logistics partner. We shall not be responsible for any items sent to us for return / replacement without our confirmation. The email address for all such communication is info@CentralBooksOnline.com 

Note:  It is only possible to exchange the item as per the above Exchange/Replacement Policy.

Question: What about the difference in the replacement or exchange amount?

Answer: Customer needs to pay the excess amount in case the amount is different from the original purchase amount.

 

REFUND POLICY:

We'll make the refund to the card/account that was used to pay for the original order.
Normally refund happens within 7 days of cancellation of order. In case it is delayed, same can be enquired about through our support team.  

Cases of unavailability of products or a service problem:

• If the item sent for replacement is not available, we will try to give you the best possible alternatives, but at the end, choice of the customer will be final.

• If the order is confirmed by us and the product is not shipped on time (3days to date of placed the order) to the customer, then we give refunds to the customer, if the customer demands.

• 100% refund will be given, if product is not available or we are not able to ship the products.

• For courier products, if the delivery address is out-side the service area, then 100% refund will be given to the customer

• Refund to be processed within 7-10 Days after the returned products has been received via Bank Transfer or Online Wallet Payments. 


How to place a request for Refund?

It’s a simple process,

  • Click on "My Account" at top bar and Login your account with your registered mobile or email id
  • Once you are in My account page, Go to My Orders and Click on the Return Request(Refund request within it) link next to the product you would like to Refund.
  • Follow the screens, & select Request type as "Refund Request" and Fill in the required details and submit the request.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Question: Can I cancel my order, after making payments?

Answer: Yes, you can cancel your order any time before the order is shipped for delivery to your shipment address.

In case we receive a cancellation e-mail and by that time the order has already been "Shipped" from our warehouse, the order cannot be cancelled. Then the request will comes under “Replacement/Exchange or Refund”

CentralBooksOnline.com has the complete right to decide whether an order can be cancelled or not. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by CentralBooksOnline.com and accept CentralBooksOnline.com’s decision regarding cancellation.

CentralBooksOnline.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded and the User shall be informed of the same.

 How to place a request for Cancel the Order?

  • Once you are in My account page, Go to My Orders and Click on the Cancel Order link next to the product you would like to Cancel.
  • Follow the screens, & select Request type as "Cancel Order Request" and Fill in the required details and submit the request.
