Cancellation & Return Policy

We have a Safe Shoppers returns & exchange policies on most of the items sold on www.centralbooksonline.com. We will guide you through the process and supply you with a Return Authorization number. No returns are accepted without the Return Authorization number

General Returns

We have No Questions Asked within 15 days(from the date of purchase order), 100% acceptance policy on most NEW UNOPENED items. However a prior Return Authorization Number should be obtained for all returns. Please Contact us to get a Return Authorization Number. One way Shipping charges to return the items are paid by the customer. Any returns made without the Returns Authorization Number will not be accepted.

Value of the order is refunded as a Credit Note or Gift certificate. No Cash refund is done. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received the returned item and processed your voucher.

Exchanges

For products with defects, broken, incorrect items shipped and needs exchange, please Contact us to get a Return Authorization Number. We will get the product picked up and the exchange process will be triggered. If the product is presented for exchange then it will be replaced with the product of the same nature. We have a 7 day exchange policy & we reserve the right to refund the order (in the form of www.centralbooksonline.com e-vouchers) if we do not have the stock left for a particular item requested. Please ensure the tags, packaging etc. is intact as it was sent and the product is sealed before you hand it to the courier. Also, make sure to take the return shipping number from the courier partner.

Gift Returns

All the above policies apply to products purchased or delivered as Gifts.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled before the shipping is made are eligible for 100% acceptance policy. If shipping is in progress, we will try and arrange the return with our courier partner and process for cancellation. However, if the shipment has already reached the destination, the item should be returned in order to process cancellations. Customer needs to send the order back to us. Please call us to get the address it needs to be sent to. Customer is responsible for the order until it reaches us hence please ensure you send it by a trusted courier and keep all details of the consignment before you hand it over to the courier.

Exception in Cancellations

Some items/orders marked as Non-Returns may not be returned. Example of a Non-return item is Samples or Gift sent from Central Book Online

Please note: In any of the cases, Return/ Exchange/ Cancellation, the refund will be done only in the mode of www.centralbooksonline.com e-vouchers and in no circumstance refund will be done in cash.
